By following the below steps, you can add Google reCAPTCHA to your website.

Step-by-Step Guide:

1. Get Google reCAPTCHA API Keys:

  • Go to the Google reCAPTCHA website.
  • Sign in with your Google account and register your site.
  • Depending on your needs, select the reCAPTCHA v2 or reCAPTCHA v3 options.
  • Once you have registered, the next step is to note down the two keys; Site Key and Secret Key.

2. Install and Activate the Elementor Pro Plugin (if not already installed):

  • To use google reCAPTCHA in your elementor form, you must have an elementor pro. If not installed, install and activate elementor pro.

3. Add reCAPTCHA to Elementor Form:

  • From the WordPress dashboard, go to Elementor > Settings.
  • In the Elementor settings, click on the Integrations tab.
  • Scroll down a bit to find the Google reCAPTCHA section.
  • Paste the Site Key and Secret Key that you got from the Google reCAPTCHA website and save the changes.

4. Add reCAPTCHA to Your Form:

  • Create a new page or if you already have a page where you want to ust google reCAPTCHA, edit with elementor that page.
  • In case you have a ready-made form, proceed to click on the form to make the necessary changes otherwise drag and drop the Form widget onto the page.
  • In the Form widget settings, go to the Form Fields panel. Add a new field, then choose the reCAPTCHA field type.
  • You can customize the label and settings as needed.
  • If you have chosen reCAPTCHA v2, users will see a checkbox; if you choose v3, it will be invisible and trigger automatically.

5. Test the Form:

  • Once you set up google reCAPTCHA in your form, test the form and make sure it works correctly.

6. Publish Your Page:

  • Once your form works correctly after integration, click Publish to make the page live.
